For teachers
Free class tools for your AP students
Make a class, share a code, and assign exam-style practice. You see who has done it and how they did, by unit and by skill, without grading a single multiple choice question.
How it works
Make a class
Sign in, pick your course, give your class a name, and you get a short join code. Make one class per section, or one for everyone.
Students join with the code
Students sign in with a free account, go to Your classes and type in the code. They pick the name you'll see next to their work.
Assign practice
Pick a unit's multiple choice questions or a free-response question. In World History you can also give a full practice exam, a DBQ, a long essay or a short answer question. Add instructions and a due date if you like.
See the results
See who has turned work in and who hasn't, scores by unit and by skill, and each student's written answers with an AI score you can change. Download a gradebook as a spreadsheet.
Every course on the site
When you make a class, you pick its course: World History, US History, European History, US Government, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, Precalculus, Calculus AB and Calculus BC. Students take unit multiple choice in the same timed test screen as the rest of the site, and write free-response answers they can get scored by AI or score themselves with the rubric. You can change any written score.
Questions teachers ask
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Classes are free for teachers and students, like the rest of the site.
- Which courses can I assign?
- All of them. In every course you can assign unit multiple choice and written questions with AI scoring: free-response questions in the newer courses, and short answer, DBQ and long essay questions in World History, which also has full practice exams.
- What can I see about my students?
- Only the name a student picks when they join and the work they do for your assignments. Practice they do on their own, flashcards and anything else on the site stays private to them.
- Do students need an account?
- Yes, so their work is matched to them. It's free, and they can sign in with Google or with a link sent to their email.
